Global Prayer Day is a day that all believers and followers of Jesus Christ are invited to unite in prayer for repentance, salvation and global evangelism.

We understand that the Gospel of Jesus Christ was first offered to the Jews and then to the whole world. We know that salvation is not by works, but by faith in Jesus Christ who willingly paid the price for our sins.  We believe that there are appointed times and seasons that God placed on the earth from the beginning of time. That’s why Global Prayer Day is on the holiest day on the calendar which is “Yom Kippur”, “The Day Atonement”.

We are calling for all believers from all nations, tribes and tongues to join us for 24 hours of praying and fasting based on Isaiah 58. This is not an opportunity for a religious practice, but it is a sincere time to draw nearer to God, cleanse your heart, pray for the world and move into action.

The first call for prayer is for repentance. God is calling His people to Holiness. Repentance begins with you and it brings reconciliation between you and God. God dwells in the hearts of those who humbly receive Him. So, repentance works through you, as you become a peace maker and bring peace to the world.

The second call for prayer is for salvation for those who are unaware and have not yet heard the Good news of the Gospel Jesus Christ. Revival in our lives, families, communities and world will come if we humble ourselves and pray and seek God’s presence and turn from living life our own sinful way.

The third call for prayer will be for Global Evangelism. Pray to be empowered to reach. You have been created to IMPACT. Your prayer and fast will loosen the bondage of spiritual, social and economic oppression and injustice. Your compassion in action will be the answer to the world’s physical and spiritual needs.
Darkness will be dispelled by LIGHT. The LIGHT of the world, Jesus, will shine through you to bring LIFE to the world.
